Job Summary

Liberation Programs Inc. is seeking a skilled LPN or RN to join our Residential Inpatient Program team. As a Residential Nurse, you will play a critical role in helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee medication management for patients in our Inpatient Residential program
  • Provide education on medication, side effects, and medical conditions
  • Review medication forms daily and arrange for prescriptions to be filled/refilled timely
  • Ensure medication rooms and MARs are well-organized and in compliance
  • Consult with psychiatric and medical staff as needed to ensure patient well-being and safety
  • Attend staff meetings and provide related staff education
  • Assess clients prior to methadone administration to ensure proper dosage
  • Coordinate clients' dosage change requests with counselor and medical staff
  • Provide coverage for LPN staff, including methadone dispensing
Requirements
  • Current CT Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Three to five years of direct patient care experience in hospital, primary care, psychiatric facility, or home care
  • Knowledge of addiction treatment principles and experience in the field preferred
  • Leadership, accomplishment, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook
  • Familiarity with methadone dispensing software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
