The Production Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of industrial equipment and for directing, training, and developing shift team members. This role requires collaboration with the Shift Supervisor to maintain a safe work environment and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair extrusion blowmolding machinery using mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Monitor and control scrap, reliability, and quality through process checks.
  • Participate in daily process team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
  • Utilize SAP for various transactions, including inventory management and production planning.
  • Train and develop Production Technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Act as a backup Shift Supervisor as needed, providing leadership and oversight during critical periods.

Requirements:

  • A two- or four-year technical degree or comparable related experience.
  • Excellent safety practices and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
