Job Title: Electrophysiology Cardiology Clinical Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled clinical faculty member to join our team in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing both basic and advanced electrophysiology procedures and device implementation, as well as treating other cardiovascular diseases within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrophysiology consult services at the University of Kentucky
  • Establish a practice encompassing patients with arrhythmias and other heart rhythm disorders
  • Participate in non-invasive and invasive testing in this patient population
  • Teach cardiology fellows, residents, and students during consult service and in-patient services
  • Participate in the Department's courses for medical students
Requirements:
  • MD Degree or Equivalent
  • Clinical cardiology and advanced electrophysiology experience
  • Completion of fellowship training in Cardiovascular Medicine
  • KY Medical License
  • Board certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board eligible or board certified in subspecialty of Cardiovascular Diseases
