Key Responsibilities:

The role will be involved in the support of a highly critical production environment and will be engaged in the design and deployment of large-scale systems along with a team of technically competent professionals. The successful candidate will demonstrate ownership and responsibility in all assignments, have enough expertise to identify and recommend changes/improvements to the process and infrastructure design, and provide L3 level support. Additionally, they will have strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently, maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries, and adhere to all service management principles. The candidate will also take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with network issues, actively participate in documentation of technical procedures, and perform effectively as a project leader or project team member as required for network-related projects and internal assignments.

Technical Requirements:
8+ years of network administration experience in a large enterprise environment, Cisco and other industry-standard networking certifications, and extensive experience in system fault tolerance, networking designing, business continuity, and disaster recovery. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of LAN and WAN concepts, including wireless LAN and firewall, and have an average of 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise-class routers, switches in a global network environment using common network security practices, standards, and troubleshooting.

Working Conditions:
The role will require working in a cross-cultural team and communicating effectively, providing emergency intervention in ITIL lifecycle processes, incident, and problem management to provide 2nd/3rd level support in response to major incidents, managing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure aligned delivery and support activities, optimizing opportunities to derive added value, resolving moderate to complex incidents and problems effectively and in a timely manner, and responsible for performing root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
