We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. As a Staff RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses.
- Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations as needed.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting, preferably in a hospital setting.
