We are seeking a skilled Hospital Engineer to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and evaluating various systems to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement infrastructure master plans for UMMC facilities.
- Establish and maintain engineering design standards for the Medical Center.
- Assist with capital planning and construction quality review.
- Commission and recommission new construction and existing physical plant systems.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
- Registered Professional Engineer's license in Maryland preferred.
- Five years of experience in healthcare or high-performance central plant systems engineering design, planning, or plant operations preferred.
