Job Overview

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture is seeking a detail-oriented part-time Field Enumerator to support our organization. This role involves collecting crop and livestock information from farm operators and industry representatives through phone and in-person interviews.

Data collected is used to make estimates of agricultural data for producers, buyers, and government agencies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting phone and in-person interviews with farm operators and industry representatives
  • Collecting and recording data on crop and livestock production
  • Providing training and support as needed

Requirements include:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a part-time, intermittent position with flexible days and hours. All training is provided, and no experience is necessary. An agriculture background is helpful, but not required.

We work on an iPad, which will be provided. Being multilingual is a plus.
