About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Elderwood Village at Colonie. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional customer service and assisting with meal preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide restaurant-quality service to residents, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Assist with meal preparation, including food handling and sanitation
  • Maintain a clean and safe dining environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Interact with residents, coworkers, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Employment Certificate/Permit required for applicable individuals
  • Prior customer service experience
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
  • Physical stamina necessary for constant activity
  • HS diploma or equivalent preferred
