Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Assistant Professor within the Division of Child Psychiatry. This position is designed for individuals passionate about child and adolescent mental health.
Location:
The practice is situated in a vibrant college town with a population exceeding 1 million, providing a rich environment for both personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
The role encompasses a blend of child psychiatry services, including:
- Inpatient care
- Outpatient services
- Hospital consultations
The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of 5 to 6 other child psychiatrists and 2 child nurse practitioners. The call schedule is approximately 1 in 9, covering both adult and child psychiatry services.
Teaching and Research:
As part of this role, there will be opportunities to educate residents and medical students. Additionally, candidates will have access to various research initiatives, allowing for professional development and contribution to the field.
