Apprentice Mechanical Insulator

This role provides hands-on training and support in the insulation of plumbing, heating, and refrigeration piping systems, as well as insulating ductwork at job sites under the supervision of a Journeyman Insulator and Field Crew Leader.

Critical responsibilities include effective communication with team members, project leaders, and other contractors/sub-contractors on-site; adherence to safety procedures; quality production & cost control; and other duties as necessary to facilitate the completion of assigned jobs in a timely manner.

As an Apprentice, you will work through our 4-year training program with a dedicated mentor, and you may attend Tech classes working towards your Associate's degree, fully paid for by Eckhardt & Johnson.

Raises are earned for every 1,000 hours of work completed.
