Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Echocardiography Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality echocardiography services to patients in their homes or at various service locations in the local community.

• Perform echocardiography studies using portable ultrasonic equipment, following established protocols and procedures.
• Collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting according to company procedures.
• Transmit images and associated documentation to cardiologists in a timely manner, according to company protocols.
• Complete all forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed, according to standard protocols.
• Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading cardiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.

• Meet all state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification, and state license to perform echocardiography studies.
• Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Have a working knowledge of other departmental procedures and equipment.
• Be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
