Job Summary:
The Floor Nurse is a skilled nursing professional responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform delegated nursing tasks within the scope of your license, including medication administration, treatments, and assessments.
- Supervise STNA's and delegate tasks accordingly, ensuring effective and efficient care delivery.
- Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare teams to support accurate and quality care delivery.
- Collaborate with the Charge Nurse and STNA's to promote a positive work environment and ensure effective care coordination.
- Recognize and report adverse findings related to patient care, and contribute to STNA evaluations.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Ohio RN or LPN license.
- Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively as a leader.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
