Surgical Care Specialist

Surgery Partners is seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team as a Surgical Care Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills, including the ability to assess patients' physiological and psychosocial health status, complete patient histories, and document information in patient records. You will also be responsible for implementing care plans tailored to individual needs and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care through the nursing process
- Assess patients' physiological and psychosocial health status
- Complete patient histories and document information in patient records
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Assn. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum one year in the OR, with ability to scrub and circulate preferred
