Electrical Power Monitoring Systems Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of EPMS at diverse client locations, including Data Centers, Healthcare Facilities, Manufacturing Plants, Military and Government Sites, Commercial Buildings, and Educational Institutions.
  • Work in close collaboration with contractors and end-users, engaging in daily interactions within construction settings.
  • Execute EPMS software installation, customization, and integration, along with the start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical power monitoring devices.
  • Deliver training to clients, troubleshoot device communication issues, and carry out hardware component replacements.
  • Consult with clients to establish system operation requirements and document the finalized system.
  • Prepare for travel to client locations, with the possibility of up to 75% overnight travel.
Qualifications for Success:
  • A two-year technical degree, ideally focused on electrical power systems or electronics, is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in Electrical Power Monitoring Systems, Building Automation Systems, Systems Integration, or Energy Management Systems.
  • Ability to interpret contract specifications and electrical drawing packages proficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and the capability to work effectively in team environments.
  • A stable work history and a willingness to travel extensively.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with electrical equipment and a solid understanding of electricity, power generation, distribution, and power quality concepts.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols, computer networking architectures, and HMI configuration.
  • Direct experience with Schneider Electric proprietary software and relevant certifications.
