Occupational Therapist

AdeIphi Medical Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. This opportunity is a contract/travel position located in Federal Way, WA.

In this role, you will work closely with patients and healthcare teams to create customized treatment plans. Your goal will be to improve patients' daily life skills and independence through diverse therapeutic methods.

We are looking for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist who can adapt to various patient needs and provide guidance on adaptive tools and assistive devices.

The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating patients' physical and cognitive abilities, creating effective treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

• Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify limitations and set realistic goals.
• Create tailored treatment plans collaboratively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Apply evidence-based therapeutic methods to enhance patients' daily life skills and independence.
• Provide expert guidance on adaptive tools and assistive devices to support patients' rehabilitation.
• Instruct and practice daily living activities to improve patient skills and confidence.
• Educate patients and families on strategies for maintaining independence and managing conditions effectively.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adapting plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Ensure precise and accurate patient records, including evaluations and progress notes.
• Support patients in their transition back to their communities and workplaces, ensuring a smooth recovery process.

• Valid and active Occupational Therapy State license.
• CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (with AED).
