You will perform all prescribed Nuclear Medicine procedures in an efficient manner, utilizing good judgment to plan effectively and solve problems. You will also be responsible for ensuring radiation safety for yourself and others, as well as demonstrating competency in the storage and transfer of exams. Additionally, you will be required to demonstrate annual competency in the handling, storage, and transfer of radiopharmaceuticals.

You will also demonstrate competence in the administration of age-appropriate care, obtain and record adequate patient history, and interpret physician's orders correctly. Furthermore, you will correctly order, track, and charge exams in a timely fashion.

You will also log in technical information, complete reports and surveys, and comply with all regulatory agencies. Additionally, you will document appropriately in NMIS and complete Occurrence Reports as needed. You will also participate in hospital-wide Performance Improvement as needed.

You will also need to hold a current license or conditional license from the State of Illinois Emergency Management Agency in Nuclear Medicine, and/or the Iowa Department of Public Health. Additionally, you will need to have CPR certification and be interested in Medical Imaging and Radiology - Non-Nursing.
