Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lockbox Specialist to join our team at Axelon. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of cash and check transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate low-speed machinery to re-scan rejected items and utilize a desktop scanner to rescan batches and insert pages into imaged batches.
  • Manage multiple queues, including check encoding queues, and take action on exception items.
  • Responsible for restructuring batches, preparing non-image cash letters for shipment, and distributing merchandise received.
  • Utilize outbound mail systems for labeling closed mail and merchandise received from mailroom services.
  • Meet customer deadlines on client decisioning transactions and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and PCI standards, and proactively identify and manage risk.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift/move boxes, trays, and racks of work up to 50 lbs.
  • Expertise in check negotiation and familiarity with client instructions and processes.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
