Marine Technician Job DescriptionLC Staffing is seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team in Kalispell, MT. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and installation of marine engines, systems, and components.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular preventative maintenance and routine repairs to marine engines, systems, and components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with marine vessels, including fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and more.
- Perform installation and commissioning of new marine equipment and systems, including engines, navigation instruments, communication systems, and more.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on customer's vessels and submit paperwork in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Marine technician certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of marine mechanical systems and components, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, fuel systems, and more.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday with weekend availability.
- Competitive pay up to $40/hour, depending on experience.
