We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care Practice at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with patient care and perform various clerical tasks such as appointment scheduling and chart management.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and dignity while ensuring a positive experience through effective communication and organizational skills.
- Prepare instruments for procedures, handle medical records, and support the overall operations of the practice.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited medical assistant certificate program preferred.
- Certification/Registration (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) preferred; may be accepted in lieu of graduation from an accredited MA school.
- Minimum of 1 year private practice medical assistant experience preferred in a primary care or specialist office.
- Excellent organizational, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills required.
