Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders.

  • Providing education to patients and their families regarding speech disorders and their underlying causes.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Communicating updates and patient status to relevant stakeholders, including family members and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Current Speech Pathology License or Certification in the state of practice.
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of speech disorders, their causes, and treatment methodologies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using healthcare databases and patient management systems.
  • Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) with a caring approach.
