Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and Guide Maintenance Activities: Oversee and direct maintenance activities for assigned areas/shifts, ensuring the execution of maintenance plans and adherence to OSHA and PCI guidelines.
  • Conduct Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting activities in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Develop and Train Maintenance Employees: Develop and train maintenance employees in assigned areas, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Identify and resolve operational issues through effective problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Support Lean Initiatives: Support and promote Lean initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Ensure achievement of all area/shift KPIs, and maintain a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Project Execution: Support the execution of relevant projects within assigned areas, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation.
  • Process Understanding and Interdependencies: Maintain a deep understanding of processes and functional interdependencies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Risk Identification and Escalation: Recognize and escalate potential risks or opportunities for improvement, ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and the integrity of our facilities and equipment.
  • Employee Development and Training: Proactively engage in the development and training of hourly labor, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Company Policies and Procedures: Adhere to and administer company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and effective implementation.
  • Shift Work and Resource Allocation: Prioritize shift work and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Two (2) year technical degree or equivalent, and five (5) years of mechanical experience in an industrial environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite, and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to adapt to change, embrace Lean concepts, and effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership and Project Management: Proven ability to lead people and promote positive employee relations, and experience with project management.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
