Job Summary

Edgewell Personal Care is seeking a skilled Blade Finishing Operator to join our team. As a Blade Finishing Operator, you will be responsible for operating all Blade Finishing equipment and performing related blade finishing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate all Blade Finishing equipment and perform other related blade finishing operations.
  • Visual and microscopic inspection of blades, monitoring of machines, and setup and operation of equipment.
  • Produce quality work, practice safety standards, and maintain production standards.
  • Identify and inspect blades for cleanliness and defects.
  • Transfer blades to and from trays, sleds, and pins magazines.
  • Maintain a supply of required parts at each work station.
  • Pick-up and move material in process to and from various operations.
  • Deliver finished blades to the assembly areas.
  • Retrieve empty hardware from Assembly Departments.
  • Accurately report on Finishing Blade Inventories.
  • Clean and separate export hardware.
  • Wrap product and fill export crates.
  • Record necessary information on Blade Finishing process sheets and maintain daily production reports.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 7 hours a shift.
  • Ability to move materials up to 50 lbs. into position.
  • Ability to perform detailed manipulation with hands to inspect and sort product.
  • Ability to operate a hand truck.
