Amergis is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinic/Wellness/Immunization Specialist. In this role, you will work in a variety of settings, including community clinics, wellness centers, and immunization sites, to provide high-quality patient care and promote health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' health status and develop effective plans to reduce health risks.
- Identify and prioritize patient care requirements, and implement interventions accordingly.
- Provide a safe and comfortable patient environment, and educate patients and families on health and wellness topics.
- Document patients' responses to care and interventions, and follow up on recommendations.
- Monitor the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment, and report any adverse reactions or incidents.
- Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
- One year of experience as a nurse in a clinic or immunization setting, preferred.
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program, when applicable.
- Current CPR certification, if applicable.
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable.
- Current Health certificate, per contract or state regulation.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Computer proficiency required.
