Job Summary

Bags, a leading provider of transportation services, is seeking a highly skilled Luggage Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting secured luggage between multiple check-in desks and airline induction locations at the airport.

This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Drive delivery cargo vans or box trucks safely and lawfully on highways and local streets.
  • Report daily delivery status to dispatchers and supervisors.
  • Ensure vehicles, ramp areas, and line equipment are clean and orderly.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections.
  • Operate radios to communicate with dispatchers and supervisors.
  • Adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Completed high-school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successfully pass post-offer pre-employment screening, including FAA airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
  • Follow company appearance guidelines.
  • Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, even in heavy traffic and unusual driving conditions.
  • Hard working and self-motivated.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
  • Able to push a loaded luggage cart up to 500lbs.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Appearance Guidelines

Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image at all times, even when working behind the scenes. This includes adhering to company dress code and grooming standards.

  • Men must be clean-shaven, with the exception of a fully-grown mustache, beard, or goatee.
  • No visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed.
  • Clean and well-maintained approved uniforms must be worn on shift.
  • Additional requirements as specified by management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers and to communicate with customers and fellow employees. The employee is frequently required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stand; walk. The employee is also frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. In addition, the employee is required to twist, turn, stretch, and bend on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly. The employee must be able to move in a relatively quick manner. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
