Financial Analyst

Position Overview

This role will support the financial reporting process for our Medicare division, focusing primarily on capitation accruals and payments, along with other provider-related details.

Key Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst will prepare, document, analyze, and report on financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records in accordance with established accounting principles and policies.

Financial Support
Provide essential financial assistance, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing discrepancies from the budget.
Prepare and analyze statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports while understanding the strategic objectives of the department and organization, including their interconnections with related areas.

Decision-Making
Make informed decisions regarding work methods, even in uncertain situations, with minimal supervision and guidance as necessary. Adhere to established protocols and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
• Proficient in Excel with the ability to create pivot tables and manage large datasets

Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting
Prior experience in public or corporate accounting
Strong technical accounting expertise
Basic SQL knowledge (ability to run queries)

Additional Information
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining office and remote work. Candidates residing in various locations may be considered for remote opportunities.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $57,700 - $79,500 annually, reflecting a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. Individual compensation may vary based on geographic location, skills, experience, and education.
