Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian-ICT to join our team at the City Of Eagle Pass. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our office and special use facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain public entry and use areas, including hallways, stairways, eating/break room areas, and meeting and conference facilities.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments on furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain safe and clean walkways and grounds surrounding City facilities.
  • Participate in special projects and events, such as setting up and taking down seating and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objective of the position.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in custodial services or facilities maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift up to 50 pounds. The Custodian-ICT will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
