We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team in Kamuela, Hawaii.

Job Description

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with TotalMed, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and individualized care to expectant mothers throughout their labor and delivery experience.



Key responsibilities include:





  • Providing antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers

  • Monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, assessing progress during labor, and assisting with pain management techniques

  • Collaborating with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized birth plans and interventions

  • Assisting with childbirth, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures

  • Educating and supporting mothers and their families during the postpartum period



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:





  • A current RN license

  • BLS certification

  • At least two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience

  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
