Host/Hostess - TwinSpires Sportsbook

The Host/Hostess is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests at the TwinSpires Sportsbook and Restaurant. This role requires a friendly and welcoming demeanor, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Greets guests and seats them in a timely and efficient manner
• Provides menu knowledge and makes recommendations to guests
• Anticipates and meets the needs of guests, including taking orders and delivering food and beverages
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
• Works effectively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient service

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Physical mobility and ability to stand for long periods

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of concentration and attention to detail. The Host/Hostess will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
