Responsibilities- Assess and Plan Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their medical needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on cancer treatment options, disease management, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and test results.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Education and Certification: Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and current NCCPA certification.
- Experience: 0-3 years of experience for Level 1, 3 years of experience for Level 2, and 6 years of experience for Level Sr.
- Licensure: Current state license as a Physician Assistant in the practicing state.
- Certifications: Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification.
