Job Title: COBOL Mainframe Programmer

We are seeking a skilled COBOL Mainframe Programmer to join our team at Resource Informatics Group.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in mainframe programming languages, including COBOL, and a strong understanding of system analysis and programming services for complex applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced systems analysis and programming services for complex applications across multiple platforms.
  • Work effectively with middleware/interfaces and/or utilities such as CICS, MqSeries, Web Services, SYNCSORT.
  • Perform advanced systems analysis and programming services for complex applications across multiple platforms.
  • Experience working with DB2 databases.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and standards.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in mainframe programming languages, including COBOL.
  • Strong understanding of system analysis and programming services for complex applications.
  • Experience working with middleware/interfaces and/or utilities such as CICS, MqSeries, Web Services, SYNCSORT.
  • Experience working with DB2 databases.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with mainframe development tools such as IDz and ChangeMan.
  • Knowledge and skill using or supporting scheduling software like Control-M.
