Job Title: Electroencephalography Technologist

Job Summary:
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health & Medical University of SC is seeking a skilled Electroencephalography Technologist to join our Clinical Neurophysiology Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recording and analyzing neurophysiologic potentials to diagnose and monitor neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and analyze electroencephalograms (EEGs) to diagnose and monitor neurological conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of EEG equipment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited program in Electroneurodiagnostic technology or equivalent
  • Registered as an EEG Technician by ABRET and certified as a Long Term Monitoring Technician
  • Minimum two years of experience in EEG technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
