GENERAL FUNCTION: This role is pivotal in ensuring that all patients receive top-tier optometric care through comprehensive clinical protocols while fostering growth within the practice.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Craft a compelling vision for the future and establish clear goals and operational plans.
- Communicate objectives effectively and demonstrate a commitment to achieving results through strong management of Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensure that the practice is recognized as the premier optical provider in the community.
- Place patient care at the forefront of all activities.
- Lead and mentor Associate Optometrists to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
- Foster long-term relationships with patients, becoming their trusted eye care provider.
- Maintain effective communication with all team members to ensure a seamless patient journey.
- Uphold state licensure and engage in continuous education to stay abreast of industry advancements.
- Conduct training and provide guidance to Associate Optometrists, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with management to meet operational goals and optimize staffing based on patient demand.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctor of Optometry degree.
- Proven leadership and management capabilities.
- Knowledge of contemporary optometric technologies and practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of sound business management principles.
Compensation is influenced by various factors, including experience, qualifications, and local wage standards. A competitive bonus and/or commission structure may also be available, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
