Nursing Care Specialist

Maine Medical Center seeks a skilled Clinical Nurse to support our mission and values by delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves assessment, diagnosis, and outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000-$110,000, depending on experience. MaineHealth offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid parental leave, flexible work policy, student loan assistance, training, and well-being resources.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure effective treatment plans.
- Assess patients' conditions, identifying changes and initiating appropriate action.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating research-based practices and principles.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine required.
- At least 1 year of prior RN work experience, preferably in critical care, pediatrics, or behavioral health settings.
- Basic knowledge of research-based practices, theory, and principles of professional nursing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
