Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Multimodality Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Position patients accurately and select anatomic and technical parameters to ensure high-quality images.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program within 6 months of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Medical Sonographer, within 6 months of hire date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General Radiology and CT experience.
