Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Maintenance and Engineering division as Vice President of Technical Operations. This strategic leader will oversee the financial and operational performance of our maintenance and engineering operations, driving growth and improvement through effective planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies to drive growth and improvement in maintenance and engineering operations
  • Provide operational leadership and maintain productive relationships with leaders and regulatory bodies
  • Staff and develop maintenance department personnel to work professionally and in accordance with industry standards
  • Instill a sense of duty and responsibility among personnel to fulfill customer flights safely and efficiently
  • Ensure best industry practices through budgeting, scheduling, analysis, reporting, and contract negotiation
  • Promote the brand by representing the Tech Ops department at meetings and presenting plans, projects, and activities clearly
  • Manage all aspects of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, developing standards, procedures, and guidelines for operational areas
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
  • 10+ years of experience on Part 135 or 121 jet aircraft
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Industry knowledge in all areas of the Maintenance Department
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Master's degree in related field (desired)
  • A&P License (desired)
