About the Role

The US Oncology Network is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a key member of our Radiotherapy Clinics, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Radiation Therapist to administer radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately delivering and recording radiation therapy treatments, maintaining patient treatment parameters, and participating in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatment parameters
  • Participate in clinical instruction of new staff members and students
  • Assist with scheduling and billing processes
  • Perform tasks such as block cutting and mold making as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited radiation therapy technology program
  • ARRT certification and valid state license for radiation therapy
  • 0-5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT, depending on level of qualification

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires regular sitting, standing, and walking, as well as occasional lifting up to 30 pounds. You will work in an office environment with significant interaction with management, staff, and external auditors and clients.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
