Key Responsibilities- Routine Roof Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial roofs to identify potential issues and ensure manufacturer warranties are maintained.
- Leak Repair and Diagnosis: Diagnose and repair leaks on commercial and industrial roofing projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Team Leadership and Training: Lead and train assigned helpers in proper repair and small-scale construction of various commercial roofs, including single-ply, EPDM, TPO, PVC, built-up, and modified roof systems.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of time and materials, and provide daily reports to management.
- Customer and Coworker Interaction: Represent the company and interact with customers and coworkers in an honest, ethical, and professional manner at all times.
- Commercial Roofing Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, including BUR, EPDM, single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems.
- Leadership and Training: Proven ability to lead and train helpers in a small team environment.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve technical field application problems.
- Communication and Safety: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a professional manner, and adherence to job-site safety and OSHA requirements.
- Computer and Smartphone Skills: Basic computer and smartphone skills, with the ability to use company software.
- Travel and Valid Driver's License: Ability to travel locally when required, and a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Hourly Pay Rate: Competitive hourly pay rate based on knowledge and experience.
