Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Buckingham Search. This hybrid role is based at our corporate headquarters near Wheeling, IL, with in-office collaboration required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial functions for a portfolio of properties, funds, and corporate entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Analyze property-level performance returns, identifying areas for improvement and providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Prepare and execute cash transactions, including capital calls, investor distributions, and property acquisitions/sales, maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial planning and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate accounting, with a strong background in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with familiarity with Yardi being a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as top-tier benefits, growth opportunities, and a collaborative culture. The estimated salary includes base pay, bonuses, and other forms of compensation.
