Job Title: Cardiac Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Technician to join our team at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. As a Cardiac Technician, you will be responsible for operating and assisting in the monitoring of patients on the Cardio Thoracic Stepdown Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and assist in the monitoring of patients on the Cardio Thoracic Stepdown Unit.
  • Administer individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardio thoracic stepdown unit procedures.
  • Assume responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during, and after procedures under the direction and supervision of an RN.
  • Execute special assignments with the unit assigned to them by the Nurse Manager/PCC/CC/RN.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification Required.
  • Completion of cardio thoracic stepdown unit technician orientation modules/class/clinical.
