Job Title:

Accounting Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Accounting Administrator to join our team at Seaside Plumbing. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records, providing analysis and presentation of financial information, and administering various accounting and financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts receivable and payable
  • Manage daily spreadsheets using Google Sheets and Excel
  • Batch and process invoices daily
  • Maintain memberships and manage recurring service events
  • Process field tickets daily, update notes in the system, and catch errors
  • Ensure all cash and adjustments are recorded, balanced, and compliant, obtaining additional approvals as needed
  • Assist with payroll aspects, including entering new employees
  • Serve as a backup to the Senior Accounting Manager as needed
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of general administration and/or accounting experience preferred
  • Excel/Google Sheets experience required, with a basic knowledge test for all applicants
  • QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred
  • Payroll experience preferred, especially multi-state payroll
  • A self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
