Maintenance Technician Job Description

Yoh is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Hanover, NJ. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing timely responses to user requests, setting up and maintaining audiovisual and furniture equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our building and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely response to user requests and perform daily set-up/take-down of audiovisual and furniture equipment
  • Assist with repairs and preventive maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, MHE, ware wash, and general facility equipment
  • Utilize various types of power tools and testing equipment
  • Maintain a safe attitude at work and adhere to all safety procedures
  • Identify and communicate possible corrective actions to eliminate or reduce safety hazards
Qualifications:
  • High school graduate with technical/vocational training in related fields
  • 8-10 years' experience in related fields
  • Computer experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Projects
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral)
  • Self-motivated and customer service-oriented
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of PLC and electronic testing equipment
  • Leadership skills to motivate and develop a team atmosphere
