Job Description:

A skilled Metal Joining Technician is required to join metal parts together using various welding techniques, ensuring the structural integrity and quality of the final product. The primary purpose of this role is to weld a variety of parts, working independently as well as on a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Measuring and cutting metal components
  • Welding metal parts
  • Inspecting and testing welds
  • Maintaining welding equipment
  • Complying with all OSHA and safety procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • AWS (American Welding Society) certification preferred.
  • Tube and Tank welding experience preferred.
  • MIG/TIG welding for aluminum
  • Ability to drive a forklift when necessary.
  • Ability to read and fabricate products from design or specification documents.
  • Mechanical skills
  • Math skills for accurate measuring and design of products/solutions
  • Ability to perform tasks under time pressure deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
