Job Overview: As an Armed Security Specialist, your primary role is to safeguard client assets while adhering to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. This position is part-time and requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $18 to $20.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement security protocols and site-specific procedures in line with company policies.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, staff, and management.
  • Conduct routine security tasks such as foot and vehicle patrols, monitor surveillance systems, and secure client property.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide logistical support to ensure the security of client assets.
  • Enforce operational guidelines and site-specific instructions.
  • Establish and execute fundamental security measures, including access control and identification verification.
  • Coordinate movements with clients and security personnel.
  • Observe and document any incidents that may affect operations.
  • Assist in various roles as directed by management.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents and findings.
  • Collaborate with other security agents and agencies for information sharing and coordination.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure clarity of information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid PA Act 235 license is required.
  • Possession of a License to Carry is preferred.
  • Must have a personal firearm.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in armed security is required.
  • Reliable transportation and communication methods are essential.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is mandatory.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred.

As a part-time armed security professional with U.S. Security Care, you will receive annual paid training, paid sick leave, and access to a 401K plan. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available, subject to conditions.
