Phennd is in search of a Lead Manager to spearhead its initiatives focused on middle school education. This position encompasses the innovative development of Phennd's expanding array of collaborations with corporate and governmental entities, alongside the management and guidance of its flagship middle school program.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing and integrating Phennd's comprehensive model of college and career guidance, spanning from middle school through to higher education. This will involve discovering new avenues to collaborate with various stakeholders to inspire 7th and 8th graders to envision their future college and career paths.
A cornerstone of this mission is Phennd's signature program, which offers middle school students:
- A structured curriculum aimed at skill enhancement,
- Programs focused on social and emotional growth, and
- Exposure to real-world career opportunities to help them comprehend and pursue their unique aspirations.
This impactful initiative is designed for students who may lack access to such opportunities, achieved through partnerships with under-resourced educational institutions.
Our program employs a distinctive method to nurture student development, engaging middle schoolers during a critical phase of their growth and transition. The program model is grounded in research that underscores the significance of social and emotional competencies, the benefits of mentorship, and the essential support students require during pivotal academic transitions.
Our goal is to cultivate individual skills and social networks through hands-on career projects within a supportive relationship framework.
