Define the scope, budget, and timeline for each assignment. Oversee design tasks or delegate responsibilities to team members while ensuring adherence to project plans.

Organize, schedule, and execute electrical engineering activities. Generate engineering documentation, including reports, plans, and specifications for diverse projects.

Draft and evaluate technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates. Engage in contract bidding and management processes.

Monitor and support the design and ongoing development of projects. Foster communication and collaboration with project teams, client representatives, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders as necessary.


Provide direction and allocate electrical design responsibilities to designated engineers and designers, supervising their work to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.


Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design, particularly in serving manufacturing and industrial sectors.

Possession of a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, with educational qualifications to obtain licensure in additional states through reciprocity.


Proficiency in large power transformers, power generation, transmission, and the operation and maintenance of power distribution systems (110VAC to 138KVAC), including harmonic analysis, cable and bus capacity analysis, and load flow analysis is essential.

Experience in electrical design for facilities and infrastructure projects is required.

Experience should encompass the design of power, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, alarm systems, control systems for building equipment, communications, access control, and security systems.

Strong understanding of national electrical safety codes and standards.

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and effectively.

A collaborative team player who coordinates well with colleagues throughout the design process.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with direct client interaction involved.

Prior experience in design and detailing using REVIT and AutoCAD is advantageous.

Familiarity with lighting calculation software such as AGI-32, ElumTools, and/or Visual is beneficial.

Experience with power system analysis tools like SKM Powertools or ETAP is preferred.

LEED accreditation is a plus.
