We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Dolomite Products Co., Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination or single, double, or tri-axle vehicle to transport goods and materials to various locations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a tractor-trailer combination or single, double, or tri-axle vehicle to transport goods and materials to various locations.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring that cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure that vehicles are in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, vehicle maintenance, and cargo transported.
- Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to safety, hours of service, and weight limits.
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Class A or B endorsement.
- At least three years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in the construction industry.
- OSHA 10 certification and knowledge of Smith Driving System are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
