Compensation Package:

The hourly rate for this role is estimated to be between $24 and $26, with a sign-on bonus of $1,000.00.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Residential Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Hoamco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing top-tier in-house maintenance services to our seven villages and community buildings.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain indoor pools and spas by ensuring proper water chemistry and cleanliness.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on four community buildings, including touch-up painting.
  • Execute temporary and permanent repairs to buildings to prevent water, rodent, and insect intrusions.
  • Clean gutters and perform minor repairs.
  • Provide interior and exterior touch-up painting services.
  • Participate in weekend rotations to assist with tasks such as water leaks, storm cleanup, and fire response.
  • Pressure wash surfaces, dig holes, replace expansion joints, and replace light bulbs and streetlights.
  • Complete and communicate work orders, tracking time and materials.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 12 months of experience in maintenance or construction.
  • Familiarity with trade tools and their operation, including hand and power tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and make educated decisions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of building waterproofing, rodent/insect intrusion principles, and repellent implementation.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various environments.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to participate in weekend on-call rotations.
