Job Description
As a key member of the radiology team, the Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Sonographer preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and operate ultrasound equipment
