About Us:

Sonic Inspection Corporation specializes in Non-Invasive Fire Suppression Inspection, utilizing cutting-edge ultrasonic technology to assess and test fire sprinkler piping integral to fire suppression systems. To support our national expansion efforts, we are currently seeking Trainees to develop into Inspection Technicians, responsible for conducting Guided Wrap Wave Ultrasonic (GWWU) inspections on diverse system types, with an emphasis on fire suppression applications.

Travel Requirements:

• Willingness to travel nationwide for 2-3 weeks each month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete training to achieve certification in Guided Wrap Wave Ultrasound (GWWU) Level 1.

• Conduct precise and timely on-site Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections for our clientele.

• Implement and adhere to a well-organized inspection schedule.

• Utilize mobile and laptop devices to manage inspection service documentation.

• Communicate effectively regarding processes before, during, and after inspections.

• Uphold the highest standards of excellence and quality in service delivery.

• Accurately document, organize, and report NDT inspection findings.

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures diligently.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience as a fire sprinkler journeyman.

• Capability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

• Ability to maintain a travel and inspection schedule consistently.

• Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

• Willingness to work in confined spaces, including crawl spaces, above ceilings, or behind walls.

• Capacity to perform tasks in challenging positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and using high lift equipment.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Possession of a valid driver's license that meets company standards.

• Frequent travel across the United States is required.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals is essential.

• English language proficiency is required.
