Job Description:

The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns in the NICU at Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Nursing Process: Utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions to coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication among team members.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with advances in neonatal care, participate in ongoing education and training, and apply knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • ASN/ADN or BSN from an accredited program
  • Ability to obtain a BSN within four years of hire, unless you have at least 15 years of proven, continuous acute care RN experience
  • Current RN license to practice in Montana
  • Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
  • At least 1 year of NICU RN experience

Benefits and Salary:

We offer a competitive salary range of $35.70 - $50.73 per hour, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that covers medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
